Let’s talk about autism

Following the launch of our All-age autism strategy  during Autism Awareness Month, we want to keep the conversation going. We are pleased to present a video we have commissioned which features four autistic professionals who live or work in Newham sharing their lived experiences.

According to official data, only 22 per cent of autistic people are in work. We want to change that and it all starts with listening to real stories. Those featured have all had long, successful careers and are keen to break down barriers, as are we. By talking about autism, we are recognising autism and showing our support for those who’re autistic.
